On August 7, 2026, WestFood was honored to welcome a delegation from the Altai Region of the Russian Federation for a factory visit and working session as part of the delegation’s business trip to Can Tho City. The visit provided an opportunity for both sides to learn more about each other’s capabilities and potential while opening up opportunities for connection and cooperation in agricultural processing and export.
During the working session, WestFood’s management introduced the Altai delegation to the Company’s formation and development journey, agricultural processing and production capabilities, raw material supply areas, key export products, as well as its development orientations for the coming period.
With a focus on developing a sustainable agricultural value chain, WestFood continuously invests in production capacity, processing technologies, and raw material areas to improve product quality and meet increasingly stringent international market standards. The Company’s products are currently exported to numerous markets worldwide, contributing to bringing Vietnamese agricultural products closer to international consumers.
As part of the program, the Altai delegation toured the factory to gain firsthand insights into WestFood’s production and processing activities and exchanged views with the Company’s representatives on areas of mutual interest. The visit provided the delegation with a clearer understanding of the processing capabilities, production processes, and development direction of a Vietnamese agricultural enterprise engaged in export activities.

The Altai Region is one of Russia’s agricultural strengths and has significant potential for developing various sectors related to food production and processing. Strengthening connections with businesses in Altai therefore provides WestFood with an opportunity to gain deeper insights into the market, cooperation needs, and potential for expanding trade relations in Russia.
For WestFood, welcoming international delegations, businesses, and partners is not only an opportunity to introduce the Company’s capabilities but also part of its strategy to expand its cooperation network, explore market development opportunities, and enhance the position of Vietnamese agricultural brands in the international arena.
