On August 21, 2026, WestFood welcomed a delegation of students from the National Economics University for a factory visit, an opportunity to learn about the Company’s operations in practice and exchange experiences in corporate management and administration. The program provided students with practical insights into the operations of an agricultural processing enterprise, while strengthening connections between the business community in Can Tho and entrepreneurs and managers from Hanoi.
During the visit, WestFood representatives shared with the delegation the Company’s journey of establishment and development, production and processing capabilities, raw material sourcing areas, export markets, as well as its development direction in the coming period. The information shared provided students with a more practical perspective on operating an enterprise in the agricultural processing sector – an industry that plays an important role in Vietnam’s agricultural value chain and agricultural exports.

Beyond touring and learning about the production model, the program also served as a forum for practical discussions on various aspects of business operations, including development strategies, corporate management and administration, markets, marketing, import and export, and supply chains. Practical insights from WestFood’s operations offered students diverse perspectives, complementing the professional knowledge and management experience they have gained through their studies.
In particular, the discussions provided an opportunity for both sides to share experiences in the process of business development, from strategy building and market expansion to supply chain organization and raw material area development. For an enterprise engaged in agricultural processing for export, proactively developing raw material areas and controlling input quality are important factors in strengthening competitiveness, meeting the requirements of international markets, and pursuing sustainable development.

The two sides discuss practical issues in corporate management.
Through the program, WestFood also introduced the Company’s potential and advantages, as well as the business environment in Can Tho, one of the key economic centers of the Mekong Delta. The city offers significant advantages in agriculture, raw material resources, and production systems, while holding considerable potential for developing the processing industry and agricultural trade and export activities.
Connecting with entrepreneurs, managers, and students from Hanoi also creates additional opportunities for WestFood to strengthen exchanges, share information, and explore potential avenues for cooperation in the future. Such inter-regional business networking activities contribute to promoting trade, investment and business connections, while serving as a bridge for businesses in Can Tho to gain broader access to networks of partners, experts, and the business community nationwide.

For WestFood, participating in visits, networking activities, and experience-sharing programs not only helps promote the Company’s image but also reflects its open and collaborative spirit, as well as its willingness to connect and share practical experience throughout its development journey. It is also an opportunity for the Company to listen to new perspectives from experts, managers, and the next generation of professionals receiving formal training in economics and management.
Looking ahead, WestFood will continue to focus on enhancing production capacity, developing raw material areas, expanding export markets, and strengthening cooperation with domestic and international partners. Through business–academic networking activities and inter-regional exchanges, WestFood expects to further expand its cooperation network, contribute to the development of the business community, and create greater value for Vietnam’s agricultural processing industry.
