On April 14, 2026, WestFood – Western Food Processing Export Joint Stock Company – successfully held its 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. The meeting approved key matters, comprehensively reviewed the production and business performance in 2025, and set out directions, tasks, and key solutions for 2026 and the following years.

In 2025, despite ongoing economic fluctuations, WestFood maintained stable operations and achieved revenue of VND 500 billion, an increase of over 20% compared to the previous year. In September 2025, WestFood officially inaugurated the WestFood Hau Giang Food Processing Factory, with a capacity of 30,000 tons of finished products per year, a total investment of over VND 666 billion, and spanning nearly 7 hectares. The WestFood Hau Giang factory is one of the largest agricultural processing plants in the Mekong Delta, producing a wide range of new, high-quality products, thereby promoting the development of raw material areas—not only King MD2 pineapples but also various other agricultural products. At the same time, the project affirms the value of linkage between WestFood and local farmers, helping the company secure raw material supply, ensure product quality, provide stable output and pricing for farmers, and create jobs for thousands of local workers.

Entering 2026, WestFood continues to aim at strengthening its position in the agricultural export processing sector, while proactively securing raw material sources and enhancing competitiveness in the international market. The company will focus on developing key products such as mango, MD2 pineapple, canned lotus seeds, and processed product lines; expanding markets; strengthening cooperation with major customers; and improving production quality in line with increasingly stringent standards. In parallel, WestFood will continue investing in technology, improving processes, upgrading machinery systems, ensuring stable operation of the WestFood Hau Giang factory, and promoting the development of raw material areas (MD2 pineapple, lotus seeds, mango, papaya, and other tropical fruits), while enhancing cost management to improve production efficiency.
On that basis, WestFood sets a revenue target of approximately VND 684 billion for 2026, aiming for sustainable growth and improved business efficiency. With a strengthened foundation and clear strategy, WestFood expects to further expand its operations, enhance product quality, and affirm the position of Vietnamese agricultural products in the international market.
