Exciting, vibrant, and filled with drama was the atmosphere of the friendly football match on April 22, 2023, between Western Food Export Processing Joint Stock Company (Westfood) and Cuu Long Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (DCL), two member companies of the F.I.T Group.
In an effort to strengthen collaboration and camaraderie between the units, develop collectively while promoting physical and team spirit within the Group, on April 22, 2023, the teams from Westfood and DCL offered spectators thrilling moments, exciting matches, and a fierce score chase at the football field of the Western Construction University, Vinh Long province.

Attending and participating in the friendly football match were the leadership representatives of the two units, including: Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet – Deputy Chairman of F.I.T Group, Chairman and CEO of Westfood; Mr. Luong Trong Hai – CEO of DCL; Mr. Nghiem Xuan Truong – Deputy CEO of Finance DCL, Chairman of the Union, along with the players and fans on both sides.
In the first half, DCL had several powerful moves that threatened the Westfood goal. After a few minutes into the match, DCL scored the first goal and took the lead. In the second half, with a strategy adjustment and well-coordinated lineup, Westfood made impressive comebacks. With the teams’ efforts to deliver exciting play, the match was a “goal rain” with a thrilling score chase between the two teams. After intense minutes of play, DCL narrowly won with a score of 8 – 6 amid the cheering and admiration of the “opponents” and fans.

In the course of the 90-minute match, both teams competed and devoted their best with a sincere, noble, and progressive sportsmanship. The success of this friendly match, aside from the meticulous organization and the attention of the management of the member companies, also reflected the positive collaboration in work, the consciousness to enhance mutual understanding, and the creation of entertaining moments of relaxation after stressful working days.
