On September 24, 2023, Khanh Hoa Mineral Water Joint Stock Company held the inauguration ceremony for the bridge over the natural alkaline mineral spring of Danh Thanh. The new bridge, spanning 132 meters, replaces the previous bridge and serves as a conduit for the direct water pipeline from the Danh Thanh spring to the factory.
Construction of the bridge over the Danh Thanh mineral spring began on June 12, 2023. The bridge was built across the stream to replace the previous structure and facilitate the direct water pipeline from the Danh Thanh spring to the factory. After more than three months of construction, the Khanh Hoa Mineral Water Joint Stock Company officially held the inauguration ceremony on September 24, 2023.
Attending the ceremony were the company’s leadership and all staff members of the Khanh Hoa Mineral Water Joint Stock Company.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga, CEO of the company, together with the leadership and all employees, participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the bridge’s completion.
It’s known that the natural alkaline spring of Danh Thanh is one of the rare mineral sources in Vietnam. Research conducted from 1977 to 1999 has indicated that Danh Thanh is an internationally standard hot silicate micro-mineral water source, consistent with renowned mineral waters such as Kuldur (Russia), Pavel Bania (Bulgaria), Evian (France), and Bath (UK) – all of which have been beneficial in medical treatments and disease prevention.
This spring boasts a perfect natural alkaline property with a light mineral content and an ideal natural pH of 9.0. The surrounding 30-hectare buffer zone of the mineral spring remains untouched, ensuring the water’s purity. With permission from the Ministry of Health, the Khanh Hoa Mineral Water Joint Stock Company has been extracting from this mineral source since 1990, notably under the natural alkaline water brand “Vikoda.”

To ensure that the purity of the mineral water reaches consumers, the company extracts water from a depth of 220 meters, where the temperature reaches up to 72°C, and bottles it directly at the source as per health regulations. The bridge, which facilitates the direct water pipeline from the mineral source to the factory, plays a crucial role in preserving the surrounding vegetation, ensuring that products, especially Vikoda natural alkaline water, retain the purity and taste of the invaluable Danh Thanh mineral source.
