Recently, Cuu Long Pharmaceutical announced that four types of empty capsules produced by the company have been granted food safety and hygiene certification by the competent authorities, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to public health protection.
Accordingly, the four types of capsules certified by the Vinh Long Provincial Sub-Department of Food Safety and Hygiene include: Gelatin empty capsule size 1 white – white (7-1-1/7-1-1); Gelatin empty capsule size 1 orange – orange (1-1-7/1-1-7); Gelatin empty capsule size 1 silver blue – silver pink (11-2-105/4-2-36) with star printing; Gelatin empty capsule size 0 silver brown – silver brown (5-2-53/5-2-53). “Achieving food safety certification is not a simple process. Products must meet strict requirements regarding raw material origins, manufacturing processes, storage, and transportation. This includes ensuring the absence of harmful substances, harmful microorganisms, or any factors that could affect consumer health,” said Duong Nhut Thai, Director of the Vicancap manufacturing plant.
Accordingly, Cuu Long Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company has closely cooperated with the authorities to conduct product quality tests, including evaluations of characteristics, qualitative analysis, weight uniformity, pH levels, disintegration time, microbial contamination, and more.

The Vinacap hard empty capsule manufacturing plant is a source of pride for Cuu Long Pharmaceutical and F.I.T Group. It holds the largest market share in Vietnam for producing and supplying various types of empty capsules. The Vicancap factory, with a total investment of over 232 billion dong and a total area of 16,132 m², has a maximum production capacity of 12.022 billion units per year. With raw materials imported from Japan, Germany, and France, along with advanced machinery and equipment from Canada, the factory is currently operating at 95% of its designed capacity, supplying approximately 11.22 billion products per year.
