Preserving Purity – Safeguarding the Precious Đảnh Thạnh Mineral Source
In 1986, when the Southern Hydrogeological Division successfully drilled the first ĐT well, Đảnh Thạnh mineral water surged from a depth of 220 meters, gushing 8.1 meters high at a temperature of 72°C, with a stable flow rate of 1.6 liters per second. This was not only a remarkable geological discovery but also a testament to the priceless gift bestowed by nature.

Deeply aware of the value of this precious mineral source, Khanh Hoa Mineral Water Joint Stock Company (Vikoda) has remained committed to preserving the pristine ecosystem in its entirety. A 35-hectare conservation area, with untouched natural vegetation and layers of primordial mineral mud, has been maintained in its original state — allowing the water source to continue its centuries-long natural filtration process. At the same time, a protective buffer zone has been established to isolate the mineral spring from residential areas and pollution risks, ensuring that every drop reaching consumers retains its original purity and intrinsic value.
The Journey to Preserve the Essence of the Mineral Source
To produce natural alkaline mineral water with the ideal pH level of 9.0 while retaining its valuable natural micro-minerals, the entire on-site production process is strictly controlled and enhanced with advanced technology. It follows a rigorous sequence: Extraction – Treatment – Bottling – Labeling – Packaging.
Specifically, the mineral water is drawn directly from a 220-meter-deep artesian well, naturally rising at a temperature of 72°C. It is then transported to the factory through a closed stainless steel pipeline system, ensuring the utmost purity is preserved.

At the factory, mineral water undergoes a rigorous treatment process in accordance with national standard QCVN 6-1:2000/BYT and international Codex 108. Using only physical methods—such as deodorization, filtration, and sterilization through UV technology—the water is then cooled and chilled before entering production. Once it meets strict quality standards, it is transferred to five fully automated bottling and labeling lines.
PET bottles are blown on-site using advanced Italian equipment, ensuring packaging safety and compliance with international standards. Finally, the products are labeled, packed, and prepared for delivery to consumers.
A New Look – A Bold Leap Forward for Vikoda Factory
Spanning an area of 50,000 square meters, Vikoda’s natural alkaline mineral water factory is equipped with six fully automated production lines, including two glass bottle lines, two PET bottle lines, one canning line, and one 19-liter bottle line. All machinery is imported from Italy, Germany, and Taiwan, boasting a total capacity of up to 400 cubic meters per day and night—meeting the most stringent international standards.
