Westfood Exporting and Processing Joint Stock Company (Westfood) has just participated in the Seoul Food fair 2022 to strengthen its brand name as well as expand export markets in the Korean market in particular and the Asian market in general. This is an annual event hosted by the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), but has been postponed for 2 years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Seoul International Food Exhibition 2022 (Seoul Food 2022) takes place from June 7 to 10, 2022 with a total area of 76,121m2, each exhibition attracts about 1,000 exhibitors with nearly 2,500 booths, welcoming more than 50,000 international visitors from many countries around the world to visit and work at the Exhibition. This is a good opportunity to help food and beverage businesses of Vietnam in general and Westfood in particular strengthen trade promotion activities, approaching potential markets in Korea and other countries around the world.

Returning to Korea this time, besides canned fruit products that have established a strong foothold in countries in Asia, Europe, America… Westfood brought to the exhibition the new pineapple variety King MD2. This is a pineapple variety that has twice the vitamin C content of normal pineapples, thin skin, lots of water, crispy flesh, bright yellow color, less fiber and less tongue burning, delicious taste, has many health benefits. The product is packaged in an easy-to-use cup and is distributed directly to supermarkets, so it is very interested by partners from Korea.
