On October 1, 2021 Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho approved and granted a license for Westfood to resume operations under the “2 on-site – green zone” option with the number of 340 people, of which 143 people switched from the “3 on-site” option to the “2 on-site” option – green zone”. To ensure the safety of officials and employees at the factory when implementing the “2 on-site – green zone” option, on October 4, 2021, Westfood held a quick test at the company’s buffer zone for 197 new employees who just returned to work under the “2 on-site – green zone” option. At the same time, 340 employees working under the “2 on-site – green zone” plan have signed a commitment to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic between employees and employers.
All of these 340 workers were vaccinated with at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine after 14 days. On October 11, 2021, Westfood also organized the 1st vaccination for the remaining 312 employees of the company, after 14 days according to the regulations of the Department of Health, these employees will return to work according to the option “2 on-site – green zone”, ensuring resources to restore production and business activities in the “new normal” state.
