[VOV2] – The 5th season of the F.I.T Cup officially concluded at the Legend Valley Country Club Golf Course (BRG Ha Nam), with the final victory going to golfer Chau Anh Quyet, who achieved a Best Gross score of 75.
The F.I.T Cup is an annual tournament held at the beginning of the year with the hope for a prosperous and successful year ahead. The tournament also serves as an opportunity for golfers and businesspeople who love the sport to meet and connect. The event is sponsored by the Hanoi Golf Association (HNGA). After four successful years of organizing the golf tournament as the exclusive sponsor, this year, there will be several changes to enhance the quality of the event and promote professionalism. F.I.T Group has decided to officially become the main organizer of the F.I.T Cup.
One of the notable highlights of the 2025 season was the introduction of the first-ever perpetual trophy – a unique handcrafted silver artwork awarded to the champion. Additionally, the tournament applied the official stroke play format with handicaps, expanding to include four categories: Category A (HCP 0-15), B (HCP 16-22), C (HCP 23-36), and for the first time, a dedicated category for female golfers. Notably, the Best Gross winners’ names are engraved on the cup. The prestigious cup will be displayed in the F.I.T Group’s traditional room, and if a golfer wins consecutively for three years, they will be awarded ownership of the cup.
After a dynamic day of play, golfer Chau Anh Quyet delivered an outstanding performance and finished with a gross score of 75, winning the 5th season cup and becoming the first player to have their name engraved on the championship trophy. This is seen as a significant milestone in his golfing career over the years. The organizing committee also awarded prizes for the first, second, and third-place winners in categories A, B, C, and the women’s category, as well as technical prizes like Nearest to the Pin, Longest Drive, etc.
