After Vinh Long General Hospital, Vinh Long City Medical Center is the second unit in the province to have a Real-Time PCR automatic testing machine system – quick test for Covid – 19. The machine system reception ceremony of Vinh Long City Medical Center was held this morning on May 19 with the attendance of Bui Van Nghiem, Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee.
The Real-Time PCR automatic testing machine system of Vinh Long City Medical Center is innovative with the analyzing capacity of 32 samples at the same time within 20 to 45 minutes, 300 to 400 samples tested per day. The system is worth over 3 billion VND awarded by Cuu Long Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company – DCL.

At the reception ceremony, Mr. Phan Van Nam – Director of Vinh Long City Medical Center stated: the support of Cuu Long Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company for Vinh Long City Medical Center which providing Real-Time PCR machine is very necessary, helping to improve the testing capacity of SARS-CoV-2 virus to be proactive in the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in the area. After receiving, the Center will deploy the device into operation immediately, in order to speed up the Covid-19 testing progress in Vinh Long province.
