The ceremony of Khanh Hoa Mineral Water Joint Stock Company (Vikoda) raise a lot of emotions with not-in-the-script situations. As Mr. Nguyen Van Sang and the “captain” of Danh Thanh – Vikoda, General Director Nguyen Nhat Hoang constantly sharing inspiration to reach a decision to “change new look”, for this unique natural mineral water product of this enterprise. “We compare mineral water like a diamond, it needs to have a form worthy of honoring its value, that’s why FIT has invested in Danh Thanh – Vikoda for many years, yet it has only been announced until now. The new water bottle is designed with a combination of “balanced rock art” and “original alkaline spectrum” which has brought a new look to Vikoda natural mineral water. Right at the launching ceremony, the bottle sample was appreciated by many customers and distributors as having fresh, youthful and dynamic colors. In which, many customers were especially impressed by the messages printed directly on each bottle. However, the most impressive is the message: Original as jade in stone.

According to Mr. Nguyen Nhat Hoang, with this message, Vikoda hope to affirm the uniqueness of the precious mineral source Danh Thanh with a pH of 9.0 reaching the natural perfect alkaline threshold. Water is exploited at a depth of 220 – 270 m, retaining all minerals in nature. In addition, around the water mine is a 30-hectare wide belt without any human intervention or impact, so the water flow is the cleanest and purest. “Vikoda is a rare enterprise with a factory located at the water mine. Mineral water extracted from the mine is brought directly to the extraction plant and this is a real gift from nature, without any artificial alkaline treatment process,” said Mr. Hoang.

Building a community of consumers Vikoda
Mr. Nguyen Van Sang, Chairman of F.I.T Group, said that many natural mineral water products of Japan, France … are famous around the world, even in Vietnam are being sold at very high prices, though it’s been highly demanded by consumers. Meanwhile at Danh Thanh mineral mine, research and testing shows that the quality is not inferior. This is the basis for businesses to keep on investing in Vietnamese mineral water products, affirming their value and position in the international market.

Also stated by Mr. Sang, presently various water production and trading enterprises are trying with different technologies to form alkaline in the water. Nevertheless, there is no other unit that has the perfect natural alkaline mineral water mine as Vikoda. “FIT and Vikoda are researching to launch different product lines and there will be a type that only serves customers in resorts, 5-6 star hotels in Vietnam and around the world,” said Mr. Sang

According to Mr. Nguyen Nhat Hoang, General Director of Vikoda, another special feature is that Danh Thanh natural mineral water is permeated through many geological layers and accumulated over hundreds of years to form an underground mineral stream located deep underground. Its reserves are finite. Currently, each day, the factory only exploits about 500m³ and produces more than 1.5 million bottles of water, this quantity is too small compared to the market of 100 million people. It is because of this limitation that Vikoda only serves a group of customers and is an advantage to build a separate consumer community, in other words, to choose customers to sell.

“In the future, we are building a community of Vikoda consumers who are granted membership cards. We expect that Vikoda’s consumer community not only drinks water in the usual way but also enjoys the most quintessential things from nature.
