On June 11, Khanh Hoa Mineral Water Joint Stock Company (Vikoda) had the honor of sponsoring the Launch Ceremony of Khanh Hoa Province’s Green Tourism Standards—an event of great significance in the province’s roadmap toward environmentally friendly, sustainable, and community-connected tourism development.
The ceremony was held with the presence of Mr. Dinh Van Thieu – Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, representatives from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, VinUni University (consulting partner), and numerous local businesses. Vikoda served as the exclusive mineral water sponsor for the event.
The Green Tourism Standards for Khanh Hoa Province include two separate standard systems tailored for accommodation establishments and tourist attractions, along with an implementation handbook, management software, and evaluation tools. In his address, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu emphasized that the standards represent a joint effort among government agencies, businesses, and experts—showcasing a strong commitment to transitioning the tourism model toward sustainability. These standards serve as practical tools for businesses to review operational processes, improve service quality, enhance visitor experiences, and ensure safety, hygiene, and effective waste management—ultimately contributing to Khanh Hoa’s position as an attractive and sustainable tourism destination.

In alignment with the spirit of the standards, Vikoda has long embedded the philosophy of green, clean, and sustainable development into its production activities. The company’s natural alkaline mineral water is sourced from a 220-meter-deep underground aquifer at Dảnh Thạnh—a site safeguarded by a 35-hectare protection zone to eliminate the risk of contamination or external impact. This dedication to preserving the purity of the original water source reflects Vikoda’s commitment to safeguarding the natural treasures entrusted to us by the environment.
Beyond responsible sourcing, Vikoda also emphasizes sustainability in product design. Vikoda Alkaline’s cans are made entirely from recycled aluminum—an environmentally friendly packaging choice. This was also the product served at the Launch Ceremony, reinforcing the green living message and encouraging both tourists and consumers to choose eco-friendly products, thereby helping reduce plastic waste.
