The celebration of the 100th anniversary of Nha Trang City (1924 – 2024) occurred amid the concerted efforts of the Party Committee, government, and citizens to successfully implement the tasks set out by Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW, dated January 28, 2022, by the Politburo regarding the development of Khanh Hoa province until 2030, with a vision toward 2045. Among these tasks, Nha Trang City is proudly recognized as the nucleus urban area and one of the three key socio-economic zones of the province.
In a joyous atmosphere celebrating the city’s century of prosperity, the Secretary of the Nha Trang Party Committee, Ho Van Mung, stated: “Nha Trang City has resolved to develop into a thriving, civilized, and happy city, pursuing the direction of ‘Green Transformation, Green Growth’ based on the full expression of Nha Trang’s cultural and human values. This serves as a strategic objective, a strong motivation, and an important political task for the Party Committee, government, and people of Nha Trang in the times ahead”.

During the commemorative event, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly presented Nha Trang City with the Third-Class Labor Medal from the President of the State, and Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha awarded the Government’s Emulation Flag to Nha Trang City for its excellent and comprehensive achievements leading the patriotic emulation movement of Khanh Hoa province in 2023.
