Recently, TSC announced its Financial Report for Q2/2023 with revenues reaching over 126 billion VND, a 27% increase compared to Q1/2023. Pre-tax profit also reported a gain of over 33 billion VND compared to the previous quarter.
Cumulatively, in the first 6 months of 2023, TSC recorded revenues of over 225 billion VND. For 2023, TSC has set a revenue target of 957 billion VND, meaning that by the end of Q2/2023, the company has achieved 23.5% of the set plan.
Despite challenges facing Vietnam’s economy in the first half of the year, TSC representatives stated that the company is currently concentrating resources on competitive sectors with long-term potential. This aligns with their philosophy of meeting the ever-increasing demands of consumers with high-quality, environmentally-friendly products.
In the food sector, the company has specific development plans to promote Vietnam’s processed fruits further on the global map. According to Vietnam’s latest 2022 export data, Westfood currently ranks 4th in export value for frozen fruits and is in the top 10 fruit canning exporting companies. The company has been continuously expanding cooperation and connecting with customers in major countries like South Korea, Japan, and China. Regarding the Westfood factory project in Hau Giang, which meets European standards and spans 70,000 m2, the company is completing procedures to commence construction in September 2023. The expected operational factory will create jobs for thousands and ensure agricultural product consumption in the Mekong Delta region. In addition to its primary raw material, the King MD2 pineapple, the company also plans to cultivate lotus in Dong Thap, covering about 500 ha, followed by mangoes, corn, and other fruits, to ensure stable raw material supply for its factory and its existing markets.
In the beverage business sector, the company reported a post-tax profit growth of 425% compared to the same period last year. The company has been continuously expanding and enhancing brand recognition among consumers, especially for the natural alkaline mineral water brand Vikoda. With exclusive rights from the alkaline mineral source, the company focuses on product diversification, distribution network expansion, and vigorous brand promotion, setting the stage for a production target of 1 million bottles/day by 2030.
In the cosmetics and chemical sector, the company successfully launched the Tero bio product line, including bio laundry detergent, bio dishwashing liquid, and bio floor cleaner. These products provide consumers with gentle, safe, and eco-friendly cleaning experiences. Leveraging multi-enzyme technology, with 100% enzymes from Europe, these products currently lead the bio-tech trend in Vietnam.
