On October 26, 2023, Can Tho Technical Material Agriculture Joint Stock Company (TSC) officially released the consolidated financial report for the third quarter and the accumulated first 9 months of 2023.
According to the published financial report, by the end of the first 9 months of 2023, TSC achieved a revenue of VND 347 billion, equivalent to 36.2% of the annual plan. Pre-tax profit increased 5.25 times, and net profit also showed positive signs compared to the same period last year.
In the Food Sector: On September 27, 2023, Westfood commenced the construction of the Hau Giang Agricultural Food Processing Plant Complex (Westfood Hau Giang Factory) with a total investment of over VND 666 billion and a capacity of 30,000 tons of finished products per year. Expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025, Westfood Hau Giang will be one of the largest agricultural processing plants in the Mekong Delta, producing many new high-quality product lines… Currently, Westfood owns 150 hectares of King MD2 pineapple raw material area in Hau Giang. The company has also signed with Phung Hiep District, Hau Giang to cooperate in the development of King MD2 pineapple with an area of 2,000 hectares over the next five years. The construction of the Westfood Hau Giang factory will be the driving force for Westfood to continue promoting the development of raw material areas, not only King MD2 pineapples but also many other agricultural products in Hau Giang.
In the Drinking Water Business Sector: The drinking water business segment in the first 9 months of 2023 recorded a 52% increase in net profit. Brand activation activities were strongly implemented nationwide, promoting increased brand recognition among consumers, especially for natural alkaline mineral water Vikoda. With the advantage of owning the Danh Thanh alkaline mineral mine with an ideal natural alkalinity of pH 9.0, unique in Vietnam, Vikoda is constantly striving to improve and enhance the health of Vietnamese people.
