On 27 March 2015, at the headquarter, representatives of Can Tho Techno – Agricultural Supplying JSC (TSC) and the world’s leading agricultural group – Advanta signed strategic business cooperation contract to distribute Advanta seeds in Vietnam. This is an important step in realization of the target to transform TSC into the leading solution provider for agriculture in Vietnam. Attending the signing session is leaders of FIT Investment JSC, the parent company, leaders of TSC JSC and representatives of Advanta Group.
Under this contract, TSC will be the strategic partner in importing and distributing a wide range of seeds including vegetables, rice, corn, crops of Advanta. Those seeds is researched and developed to fit the conditions and agricultural practices in Vietnam, helping to increase productivity and profitability for farmers. TSC will be transferred modern farming methods from foreign partners.
To perform well in the commercial seed segment, TSC bases on financial advantage, human resources including agricultural and marketing experts who are well educated and experienced. TSC possesses large warehouse system, current outspread distribution network of pesticide segment over the country, readily for the storage and distribution of seed segment.
The quality seeds together with sets of pesticide of TSC is researched, developed with the desire to provide a perfect set of ingredient for farmers.
Besides, the production of West Food – the company specialized in manufacturing and trading vegetable produtcs – the output of the seed industry, is thriving. The market of this segment of TSC is expanding both domestically and abroad. Thus, the output of the seed trading business is wide open.
With these factors, TSC is confident to be a good pathway for Advanta’s quality products into Vietnam market. The company aims that up to 2017, revenue from the seed segment will reach VND 300-500 billion/ ear.
* TSC’s strategy is to offer comprehensive solutions to agriculture through self-contained agricultural chain. Specifically, TSC provides seed and agricultural chemicals (through Pharmaceutical Agriculture TSC), building the strategic raw material area, procurement and processing (through West Food’s food processing plants), exclusive sale and export or domestic distribution.
Therefore, the trading seed segment is a vital link in the agricultural value chain of TSC.
* TSC possesses the warehouse with an area of 14,000 m2 together with modern equipment located in Long An. TSC also possesses a nationwide distribution network for the pesticide segment with over 200 level 1 agents and major customers and over 3000 level 2 agents.
