From 1983 to 1986, the Southern Hydrogeology and Geology Union drilled holes, approved by the General Department of Geology, with a C1 reserve of 500 m3/day. The first DT drill hole reached a depth of 220m, with water jetting 8.1m above ground, temperature 72°C, and flow rate 1.6 liters/second.
From 1986 to 1990, the Danh Thanh alkaline mineral water was sent to specialized agencies for detailed chemical analysis, such as the Pasteur Institute of Nha Trang, the Institute of Hygiene in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi University of Pharmacy, Nakovaruka Institute in Prague (Czechoslovakia), etc., for clinical testing.
