On April 25, 2021, at Tran Quy Cap Stadium, Dien Khanh District, the opening ceremony of the 9th Dien Khanh District Sports Festival in 2021 and the 44th Vikoda Cup Viet Nam Tournament was held sponsored by Khanh Hoa mineral water JSC (Vikoda).

The 44th Vikoda Cup Viet Nam Championship has the participation of 308 athletes from 51 units in the district. They are children, teenagers and young adults. Thereby, athletes competing at 3 age groups with the following contents: individual male – female, male team – female team, the best in the whole team. This is the tournament in response to the success of the Party Congress at all levels and the 13th National Party Congress as also the event of Vietnam hosting the SEAGAMES 31 and ASEAN Paragames 11 in 2021.
