West Food has received a number of new orders after participating in the Seoul Food Show 2015 in South Korea which took place from 12 to 15 May 2015. In the framework of the expo, the West Food representative had meetings and open discussion with big Korean customers such as corporations of food distribution and services, leading suppliers of canned products in Korea serving for supermarket chains and convenience stores, etc. and have frame agreements for the 2015 – 2016 period.

West Food products were fancied and interested by customers, especially mango and mixed fruits IQF, canned mango, etc. Particularly, West Food has received orders for a new canned product which will be offered in the South Korea market in the near future. This marked a new development stage of product diversification of West Food.
Market expansion and new customer acquisition are West Food main purposes for participating in this expo. However, the more important goal to catch up the market demand and tastes for developing new products diversification in order to get closer to end users. Based on this, the Management board outline the business orientation for West Food, doubling the factory’s capacity in June/2015 and triple (vs 2014) by early 2016.
In this expo, West Food had chance to meet with the representatives of a Korean corporation owning over 500 hectares of raw materials and would promote next stages to sign contracts of guarantee consumption, ensuring supplying raw materials sufficiently for long term stable production of West Food.
Seoul Food Show 2015 is the largest food expo in Asia held annually in South Korea. This year, the expo had about 800 booths from 45 nations, attracting more than 50,000 visitors. 10 booths from Vietnam are coming from companies having strength in agricultural and beverage products export with high quality and eye catching package which are suitable for Korean market.
