On May 19, 2022, the Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health) issued Document No. 4080/QLD-MP on suspension of circulation and recall of substandard cosmetic batches of Dr.Clean Strawberry Flavor product (batch number: 088U1; manufacture date: October 23, 2021; expiry date: October 23, 2024; label: CBSPMP: 225/17/CBMP-LA on May 10, 2017, manufactured in: Today Cosmetics Joint Stock Company (Lot 26, Street 9, Tan Duc Industrial Park, Duc Hoa Ha Commune, Duc Hoa District, Long An Province), the product of FIT Cosmetics Joint Stock Company (276 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) for the reason: The Cosmetic product does not meet the quality requirements of the criterion “Preservatives of the Isothiazolinon group” as prescribed in the Agreement on the ASEAN harmonized Cosmetic Regulatory Scheme and Circular No. 06/2011/TT-BYT dated January 25, 2011. The basis of this document is based on the test results of cosmetic samples sampled by the National Institute of Drug Quality Control at Linh Giang cosmetic store (Address: No. 26A, Hang Duong, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi City).
Immediately after receiving the test results from the National Institute of Drug Quality Control, on May 15, 2022 Today Cosmetics Joint Stock Company and FIT Cosmetics Joint Stock Company sent the samples of the batch 088U1 stored at the factory at the Center of Analytical Services Experimentation of Ho Chi Minh City. According to the test results sheet BMKD 03/1 – LBH 01 dated May 16, 2022 of the Center of Analytical Services Experimentation of Ho Chi Minh City, the criteria “Preservatives of the Isothiazolinon group” are within the allowable threshold.

However, in order to comply with the direction of the Drug Administration of Vietnam, FIT Cosmetics Joint Stock Company immediately recalled the batch 088U1 at Linh Giang store and on May 19, 2022 and notify to the system of distributors, agents, points of sale and supermarkets about the recall of Dr.Clean Strawberry Flavor product (batch number: 088U1; manufacture date: October 23, 2021; expiry date: October 23, 2024; label: CBSPMP: 225/17/CBMP-LA on May 10, 2017, manufactured in: Today Cosmetics Joint Stock Company) and has a written report to the Drug Administration of Vietnam according to the prescribed time. At the same time, Today Cosmetics Joint Stock Company and FIT Cosmetics Joint Stock Company will coordinate with the authorities to handle the batch in accordance with the law.
