In celebration of the Action Month for Children 2024, Khanh Hoa Mineral Water Joint Stock Company, in collaboration with the Dien Khanh District Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, has sponsored 20 bicycles for diligent students from impoverished and near-poverty backgrounds to facilitate their school commutes.
As part of the ongoing program to care for children in special circumstances, Dien Khanh District has implemented several practical activities over the years to support and motivate these children, including scholarship grants, regular allowances for severely disabled and orphaned children, and providing bicycles for poor and near-poor students. Annually, these programs have helped many children overcome difficulties and succeed academically and socially. This success is thanks to the support from various economic and social organizations within and outside the district, particularly the continuous sponsorship from Khanh Hoa Mineral Water Joint Stock Company for the district’s needy but studious students.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Action Month for Children in Dien Khanh District under the theme “Practical Actions, Prioritizing Resources for Children.” Khanh Hoa Mineral Water Joint Stock Company has donated 20 bicycles to students from grade 5 to 9 across various communes and towns, totaling a sponsorship value of 45 million VND.
The bicycles were presented to the children during the launch ceremony of the Action Month for Children 2024 in Dien Khanh District.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Kim Huong, Vice Chairwoman of Dien Khanh District People’s Committee, expressed her gratitude towards the Party, government, organizations, and philanthropic individuals, including Khanh Hoa Mineral Water Joint Stock Company for their meaningful gifts. She also stated, “With the determination of all levels and sectors, we hope that the Action Month for Children 2024 in Dien Khanh District will be successfully implemented and genuinely bring joy and happiness to the children.”
