After three successful seasons, the K34 NEU GOLF club, in collaboration with F.I.T Group, continues to organize the 4th edition of the K34 F.I.T Cup 2024 with the theme “Swing for Future”. The event is officially set to take place on March 24 at the Long Bien Golf Course.
The K34 F.I.T Cup is an annual event organized by the K34 NEU GOLF club and the F.I.T Group. The tournament was established with the aim of creating an exciting playground for interaction and connection among K34 NEU members specifically, and NEU golfers and golf enthusiasts in general. In addition to promoting the spirit of sportsmanship, the event also carries forward-looking significance, with many expectations for the broader development of golf.
After 3 seasons, going into its 4th season, the organizing committee has invested more meticulously, selecting the Long Bien Golf Course as this year’s competition venue—one of the top golf courses in the northern region. As announced by the committee, the tournament will kick off on March 24 and is expected to see the participation of 200 golfers.
The competition format is stroke play based on the official HDC, expanded into 5 categories: Category A (HDC 0-9), Category B (HDC 10-15), Category C (16-20), Category D (21-27), and Category E (28-36). Results are calculated based on the total Net over 18 holes. The categories are tightly grouped, making the competition more intense. Additionally, the organizing committee will arrange flights in descending order of HDC to match similar skill levels.
This year, the tournament will offer even more attractive prizes for golfers who achieve outstanding results. Notably, a HIO prize will be available at all par 3 holes on the Long Bien course, with the prize being a Mercedes C200 car per hole. Other prizes include 1 Best Gross award, 5 first-place prizes, 5 second-place prizes, 5 third-place prizes across categories, and 9 technical prizes, including 3 for the longest drive and 6 for the closest to the pin shots. The total prize value of the tournament reaches billions of Vietnamese dong.
On the eve of the tournament’s start, Mr. Vu Anh Trong, Head of the Organizing Committee, shared, “The success of the previous season is a motivation for us to organize the tournament, offering a truly professional and exciting playground for the golf community in general and K34 NEU in particular. This year’s tournament has been expanded with 2 additional categories, with a larger participation scale, promising to bring about professional and explosive competition moments.”
Mr. Nguyen Van Ban, CEO of F.I.T Group, also added, “2024 marks the fourth consecutive year F.I.T Group has been the exclusive sponsor of the tournament. During the press conference announcing the tournament, the Chairman of F.I.T Group also presented a special gift—a Putter—to be awarded to a lucky golfer during the lucky draw prize ceremony.
