Different from many common hand sanitizers, Dr.Clean Strawberry Flavor hand sanitizer in particular and Dr.Clean brand hand sanitizer in general have a neutral pH of 7.0, which is a solution for cleaning, moisturizing and not drying the skin of the hands, has conquered domestic consumers for the past 10 years. In particular, this is a product researched and developed by a pure Vietnamese enterprise whose quality and brand are comparable to global brands in the Vietnamese market. During the past 4th outbreak of Covid-19 epidemic, Dr.Clean branded products were donated by the enterprise to hospitals, isolation and treatment facilities… in “epidemic” areas such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Ha Tinh, etc., contributing a small part to support the medical team, and the F0 and F1 patients to protect themselves, thereby controlling and repelling the epidemic. Recently, there are a number of products with rare problems that occurred during the production process, so the enterprise has implemented early recall of products, changed new products, donated more products to consumers and stores; conducted overall inspection of production and distribution stages. Simultaneously, samples were taken at the factory to be tested at an independent center, to have the most objective view of the product’s quality to report to the Drug Administration (Ministry of Health).
Speaking related to this incident, Mr. Duong Pham Quy Thanh – Operations Director of FIT Cosmetics Joint Stock Company confirmed: “According to the test results of the Center of Analytical Services Experimentation of Ho Chi Minh City on May 16, 2022, the indicator “Preservatives of the Isothiazolinon group” of this product batch is still within the allowable threshold. Then, on May 17, 2022, Today Cosmetics Joint Stock Company sent information about qualified testing to the Drug Administration of Vietnam, which contained the content “In order to ensure the supply of quality products to consumers, Today Cosmetics Joint Stock Company would like to voluntarily recall Dr.Clean Strawberry Flavor product (batch number: 088U1; manufacture date: October 23, 2021; expiry date: October 23, 2024; label: CBSPMP: 225/17/CBMP-LA on May 10, 2017, manufactured in: Today Cosmetics Joint Stock Company. This recall will be reported to the Drug Administration by June 15, 2022 at the latest.”
While waiting for a response from the Drug Administration on allowing another sample to be taken for control testing at the National Institute of Drug Quality Control, by the social responsibility of a pure Vietnamese enterprise, we are committed to strictly implementing Conduct the recall of Dr Clean Huong Dau products belonging to batch 088U1.
