F.I.T Group has reaped a series of achievements in 2023: changing its brand identity associated with strategy, mission, vision, and core values for a new stage; being honored in the Top 10 Outstanding Enterprises Asia 2023; Top 500 Leading Employers in Vietnam; Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Vietnam, etc. However, according to Mr. Nguyen Van Ban, CEO of F.I.T Group, one of the significant achievements has been the digital transformation and digitization in corporate management.
Application of Technology in Operations Using the OGSM Model
On April 6, 2023, F.I.T Group officially signed a cooperation agreement with Base Enterprise Corporation (Base), initiating the project to create a digital work environment on the Base.vn platform. This event is considered crucial in the group’s digital transformation plan.
Since its establishment, F.I.T Group has always implemented business management, set goals, developed plans, and measured business effectiveness using the OGSM (Objectives – Goals – Strategies – Measurements) method. OGSM is a framework that helps the group build and promote its comprehensive strength across employees, departments, subsidiaries, and leaders, ensuring unified, sustainable development in the past, present, and future.
In 2023, recognizing digital transformation as a significant opportunity to optimize the centralized management of the group’s and its subsidiaries’ operations in various sectors according to the OGSM strategy, the F.I.T Group’s leadership determined the long-term goal of digitizing business management. They were committed to optimizing OGSM operations through three Base solutions: Base Work+, Base Info+, and Base HRM+. All activities will be entirely digitized, and all tasks will be processed on the Base software, considered F.I.T Group’s digital workspace.
“The focus on digital management development is a leap forward, making the implementation of OGSM smoother and more effective, helping F.I.T Group quickly achieve its vision of becoming a prosperous, multi-industry group with distinct, leading, high-quality products and services, improving the quality of life,” said Mr. Nguyen Van Ban.
With the cooperation between F.I.T Group and Base, upon the project’s launch, the group’s leadership expects that within two months, the project will achieve its goals: reducing 80% of paperwork, increasing work speed and efficiency by 200%, and centralizing 90% of information flows on the Base system.
The successes achieved
Alongside the partnership with Base, in May 2023, F.I.T Group continued to collaborate with FPT IS to deploy the F.I.T Business management software. After six months of diligent implementation, on November 20, 2023, the Centralized Data Warehouse and F.I.T Business Management Reports were completed, tested, and officially launched as planned. The project utilizes the DWH solution developed by FPT IS combined with Salesforce’s BI Tableau solution, achieving the objectives: Successfully building an intelligent management reporting system; centrally storing management data with the capability to standardize and aggregate data automatically; and automating the collection of management data, thereby maximizing the effectiveness of F.I.T Group’s data resources.

The F.I.T Business management software provides F.I.T Group’s leadership with six groups of management information, including: Accounting and Finance – Revenue – Budget – Production – Human Resources – Purchasing. Management data is automatically synchronized from member companies and five data source systems with various analysis dimensions to help the leadership make timely, accurate decisions.
Mr. Nguyen Van Ban stated, “To date, digitizing management has helped the group’s leadership improve management tasks, effectively use data for a comprehensive overview of business execution, as all operational information will be quantified and detailed. Quantitative reports aim to evaluate the actual operational activities of F.I.T Group, enabling the leadership to make quick, accurate decisions from anywhere and on any device, laying a solid foundation for the implementation of the group’s long-term strategies.”

“Digital transformation and digitization of management activities based on digital technology are essential, but digital technology is only a tool. Instead, people are the greatest asset, the foundation, the core element determining the success of the entire system,” emphasized Mr. Nguyen Van Ban.

Discussing the digitalization operation plan, Mr. Nguyen Van Ban further shared that, over the next five years, digital transformation is determined to be one of the core strategies to help F.I.T Group perfectly achieve its long-term goals and challenges. “We will accelerate digital transformation comprehensively and continuously across all areas of the Group, down to each department, team, and employee, enabling the Group and its member units to maximize overall strength, respond flexibly to the strong changes of the economy, and create momentum for sustainable growth and development in the future,” Mr. Ban stated.
Implementing digital transformation is a long-term process that requires adaptive capacity and strong, decisive deployment capabilities. However, with the unity and determination of both the leadership and all employees, F.I.T Group is integrating into the national digital transformation wave. The goal is that by 2027, F.I.T Group will become a multi-industry conglomerate with a billion-dollar market capitalization and hundreds of millions of USD in revenue, offering superior products and services that contribute to serving and enhancing community health and life quality.
