On December 19, 2024, Cuu Long Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (DCL) continued to sponsor and co-organize the 2024 Annual Scientific Conference at Vinh Long General Hospital. This year’s conference attracted 35 reports and scientific research projects across various fields such as cardiology, internal medicine, endocrinology, respiratory medicine, neurosurgery, nursing, and obstetrics. Contributors included doctors from Cho Ray Hospital, University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City, 115 People’s Hospital, and the National Hospital of Endocrinology. Noteworthy topics from Vinh Long General Hospital, such as “Enhancing the effectiveness of ectopic pregnancy treatment based on three successful emergency cases of ruptured abdominal pregnancy, a rare occurrence at the Obstetrics Department of Vinh Long General Hospital,” and “Applying the EDMONTON Frailty Scale to assess frailty in elderly patients with chronic heart failure undergoing inpatient treatment,” were recognized as timely and critical to the hospital’s medical examination and treatment activities.
