(Dan Tri) – On March 10, Cuu Long Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company successfully organized the EU-GMP seminar with the theme “Expert Consultation – Practical Dialogue”.
This was a special event aimed at exchanging and sharing in-depth topics between Cuu Long Pharmaceuticals and leading experts in the field of EU-GMP.
The seminar attracted the attention of experts in the EU-GMP standards in particular and those interested in the development of the pharmaceutical industry in general.
Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Van Ban – CEO of F.I.T Group; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong – CEO of Benovas Pharmaceutical JSC and Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Trong Duc – Deputy General Director of Production & SC Cuu Long Pharmaceuticals; Mr. Nguyen Ba The – Business Development Director; Mr. Do Minh Si – Technical Director (QA, QC, R&D).
The expert delegation was led by Mr. Dao Xuan Huong – Chairman of the Board of Directors of GMPC Vietnam JSC, and the Indian expert delegation was led by Mr. Rohit Ochaney – Co-founder and CEO of Inotek India.
“Today’s seminar is also an opportunity for us to connect and share practical experiences, creating a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, while promoting the transformation process and improving product quality to meet international standards most effectively,” said Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong – CEO of Benovas Pharmaceutical JSC and Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of Directors, who is also responsible for the internal management of Cuu Long Pharmaceuticals.
The seminar was divided into two sessions:
In the first session, Mr. Rohit Ochaney – Co-founder and CEO of Inotek India presented on the topic “Why adopting EU-GMP standards is an inevitable factor in the pharmaceutical industry of the 21st century?” He analyzed why EU-GMP standards are not merely a quality requirement but also a key factor in enhancing the competitiveness of pharmaceutical companies in the international market.
Also during the seminar, Mr. Dao Xuan Huong – Chairman of the Board of Directors of GMPC Vietnam JSC shared his heartfelt experiences on investing in and building EU-GMP certified factories in Vietnam. With many years of experience, he provided deep insights into each important stage of the factory construction process, from choosing the location, designing the building to equipping modern production lines and ensuring strict adherence to quality standards.
The second session of the seminar was conducted in the form of a roundtable discussion, with the participation of experts such as Mr. Dao Xuan Huong, Mr. Rohit Ochaney, and two experts from Cuu Long Pharmaceuticals: Mr. Do Minh Si – Technical Director (QA, QC, R&D), and Mr. Mai Khac Tung – Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The experts answered questions from Cuu Long staff about EU-GMP. Specialists from the QA, QC, R&D, and Investment Construction Management departments directly discussed with the four experts various issues related to ensuring the quality management system, meeting quality control requirements across the entire production chain, seeking new methods and technologies to improve the accuracy of product quality testing, developing new products that fully comply with EU-GMP quality standards, and building and upgrading factory infrastructure to meet EU-GMP requirements.
This seminar not only strengthened the cooperation between Cuu Long Pharmaceuticals and EU-GMP experts but also reinforced the company’s ability to build and maintain EU-GMP certified factories that meet international quality requirements.
