In a timely effort to support those severely affected by floods and storms, Cuu Long Pharmaceutical has collaborated with the Department of Health of Vinh Long province to launch a program providing aid and distributing medicines to residents in the provinces of Yen Bai and Lao Cai. The program not only helps people quickly recover their health but also contributes to stabilizing life after the devastation caused by the natural disaster.
Amidst the heavy losses in both lives and property due to Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi) and prolonged flooding in several northern provinces, Cuu Long Pharmaceutical, embodying the spirit of solidarity and mutual support, swiftly partnered with the Department of Health of Vinh Long province to carry out relief activities. The company donated 24 boxes of essential medicines, including pain relievers, fever reducers, respiratory and antibacterial medications. These medicines were delivered promptly and distributed to nearly 1,000 people in the communes of Ngu Chi Son and Ta Van in Sa Pa town and Muong Hum and Den Sang communes in Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province.
The working group handed out “Family Medicine Bags” to residents heavily impacted by Typhoon Yagi in Lao Cai province.
“Immediately after receiving the call for coordination from the Department of Health of Vinh Long province, we urgently developed a plan, transporting supplies overnight to ensure the medicines could reach those affected by the storm and floods as quickly as possible. The products selected by Cuu Long Pharmaceutical for this relief effort are all essential medicines, contributing to improving the health of the people.
