On March 10, 2025, Cuu Long Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and Benovas Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company successfully organized a working session with the Ministry of Health for 2025 under the theme “Challenges & Opportunities.” This event provided an opportunity for businesses to share information and propose solutions to address obstacles and difficulties in their operations.
Attending the session were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam – Deputy Director of the Drug Administration of Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Tri Dung – Deputy Director of the Health Insurance Department; Mr. Le Thanh Cong – Director of the National Center for Centralized Drug Procurement; Mr. Hoang Cuong – Deputy Director of the Department of Financial Planning; and Mr. Phan Tien Nghia – Representative from the National Center for Centralized Drug Procurement. On behalf of Cuu Long Pharmaceutical and Benovas, the attendees included Ms. Nguyen Thị Thu Huong – General Director of Benovas Pharmaceutical JSC and Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of Directors, responsible for internal operations of Cuu Long Pharmaceutical; Mr. Nguyen Trong Duc – Deputy General Director of Production & Procurement at Cuu Long Pharmaceutical JSC; Mr. Nguyen Ba The – Business Development Director; and Mr. Nguyen Toan Thang – General Director of Benovas Medical Equipment JSC.

This working session between the Ministry of Health representatives and businesses provided a valuable platform for the leadership and various departments of Cuu Long Pharmaceutical JSC and Benovas Medical Equipment JSC to discuss current issues, operational challenges, and propose practical solutions and initiatives to the Ministry of Health.
Through discussions and proposals from Cuu Long Pharmaceutical and Benovas, viable solutions were explored to promote the sustainable development of the pharmaceutical and medical equipment industry. These solutions aim to enhance the competitiveness of businesses within the broader context of integration and growth in the healthcare sector.
Speaking at the session, Mr. Nguyễn Thành Lâm – Deputy Director of the Drug Administration of Vietnam – emphasized the importance of ensuring product quality in protecting public health and advancing the pharmaceutical industry. He stated: “The Ministry of Health highly values the role of pharmaceutical companies in providing high-quality products, especially as Vietnam’s pharmaceutical industry faces numerous challenges and increasing regulatory demands from international authorities. They outlined key issues and suggested approaches to overcome these challenges.

The Ministry assured continued support for enterprises not only in technical aspects but also in improving regulatory processes, addressing legal and compliance matters, and expanding market access.
