On March 10, 2025, representatives from the Ministry of Health had a working session with Cuu Long Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and Benovas Medical Devices Joint Stock Company. This is an important event between the Ministry of Health and the enterprises, aimed at resolving the obstacles and difficulties that Cuu Long Pharmaceutical and Benovas are facing in their operations.
Attending the working session were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam – Deputy Director General of the Department of Drug Management; Mr. Nguyen Tri Dung – Deputy Director of the Health Insurance Department; Mr. Le Thanh Cong – Director of the National Centralized Drug Procurement Center; Mr. Hoang Cuong – Deputy Director of the Planning and Finance Department; and Mr. Phan Tien Nghia – National Centralized Drug Procurement Center.

The 2025 working session with the Ministry of Health was a special opportunity for the leadership and departments of Cuu Long Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and Benovas Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company to exchange and reflect on the current situation, difficulties, and propose practical solutions and initiatives to the Ministry of Health’s leadership.
Through the discussions and proposals from Cuu Long Pharmaceutical and Benovas, feasible solutions to promote the sustainable development of the pharmaceutical and medical device industries were explored, helping to enhance the competitiveness of these enterprises in the context of the integration and development of the healthcare industry.
Speaking at the session, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam – Deputy Director General of the Department of Drug Management emphasized the importance of ensuring product quality in protecting public health and the development of the pharmaceutical industry. He stated: “The Ministry of Health always appreciates the role of pharmaceutical enterprises in providing quality products, especially in the context of the Vietnamese pharmaceutical industry facing many challenges and increasing requirements from international regulatory agencies. The Ministry of Health is also always ready to accompany and support enterprises, including Cuu Long Pharmaceutical and Benovas, in improving product quality and upgrading manufacturing processes to meet international standards.”

In response to the Deputy Director General of the Department of Drug Management, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong expressed her sincere thanks to the Ministry of Health for creating the valuable opportunity for the leadership and employees of Cuu Long Pharmaceutical and Benovas to directly exchange, share, and discuss the existing issues as well as the challenges the enterprises are facing. “I hope today’s working session will serve as an important foundation for us to continue receiving support and collaboration from the Ministry of Health, helping Cuu Long Pharmaceutical be more confident in the steps of development in the future.”
During the working session, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong also provided an overview of the history, development, and achievements of Cuu Long Pharmaceutical and Benovas over the years. Established with the mission to connect and improve the community’s life through optimal health solutions, Cuu Long Pharmaceutical and Benovas have become one of the reputable pharmaceutical and medical device enterprises in Vietnam, not only in manufacturing but also in developing new products that meet market needs.

In the next part of the program, Mr. Nguyen Ba The – Business Development Director of Cuu Long Pharmaceutical and Mr. Nguyen Toan Thang – CEO of Benovas Medical Devices Joint Stock Company presented the current situation, difficulties, and proposed solutions in the areas of Pharmaceuticals – Capsules – Medical Devices, as well as proposed solutions to resolve these issues.

After receiving the difficulties, obstacles, and proposals in the three sectors of Pharmaceuticals, Capsules, and Medical Devices from Cuu Long Pharmaceutical and Benovas, the Ministry of Health’s representatives shared their thoughts and committed to accompanying the enterprises to resolve the existing issues, helping them develop and easily access international cooperation opportunities. The Ministry of Health representatives also affirmed that they would continue to support the enterprises in their development process, not only in technical aspects but also in improving management processes, addressing legal, product standards, and market-related issues.

The working session between the Ministry of Health and Cuu Long Pharmaceutical, Benovas successfully concluded, helping the company find appropriate solutions to resolve the remaining issues. This is an important step in promoting the development of Cuu Long Pharmaceutical and Benovas in particular and the Vietnamese pharmaceutical industry in general, contributing to protecting public health and improving the quality of domestic pharmaceutical products and medical devices.
