From June 1 to June 30 each year, Dien Khanh district, along with other localities nationwide, organizes Child Action Month with different themes each year. In 2023, the 29th year of organizing this action month, the theme was “Join Hands to Reduce Child Harm”, aimed at raising awareness among local authorities, organizations, families, and children about child protection and care, especially the prevention and combat against child abuse and violence. It calls for the whole society to join hands in improving living conditions, mobilizing all social resources to create opportunities for children to live in a safe, healthy environment and develop comprehensively.

At the launching ceremony, Mr. Ly Thien Thanh, the representative of Vikoda, donated 20 bicycles to 20 impoverished, diligent students who face particularly difficult circumstances and lack means of transportation to school. The donation of bicycles to poor students is an annual activity of the company, aimed at encouraging students and contributing to creating conditions for them to continue attending school, strive to study well, and become role models for students throughout Khanh Hoa province.

Over 200 athletes from 9 delegations from provinces and cities including Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Hanoi, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Phu Yen, Ho Chi Minh City, Tra Vinh, and host Khanh Hoa participated in the championship.

Competing teams

Athletes aged from 9 to 17 competed for 64 medals in various categories: Men’s singles, Women’s singles, Mixed doubles; groups of 3, 5, 8 and national development groups (9-11 years, 12-14 years, 15-17 years) in the Aerobic Dance and Aerobic Step categories with 64 medal sets.

After two days of competition, Ho Chi Minh City took the first place with 15 medals, including 9 golds; Hanoi ranked second with 9 medals; Phu Yen team came third with a total of 7 medals.

This year’s competition quality is highly rated than previous years in terms of professionalism and the number of competitors.
