The champions of F.I.T Champion will receive awards including a trophy, a certificate of merit, and a cash prize. The award ceremony was attended by Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga, CEO of Khanh Hoa Mineral Water Joint Stock Company; Ms. Tran Khiem, Deputy CEO in charge of the DCL production division; and the champions of the F.I.T Champion Quarter 1/2024.

The three champions recognized in the first quarter of 2024 are outstanding representatives from the commercial division and sales employees who achieved excellent sales performance, exceeding 100% of sales targets. Notably, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dat (VKD Sales Employee) set a record with sales reaching 114%; Mr. Do Minh Dong (DCL Sales Representative) came second with 100% sales; and the HCM Branch of DCL finished with 109% sales.

During the meeting, the AGM listened to and approved: the 2023 activity reports from the Board of Directors, the CEO Board, the Supervisory Board, and discussed the plans for 2024; they approved proposals regarding the distribution of profits for 2023 and the business plan for 2024, audited separate and consolidated financial statements for 2023, selected the auditing company and reviewed the financial statements for 2024, settled the 2023 remuneration and the remuneration plan for 2024 for the Board members, Supervisory Board members, etc., and other authorized proposals.

In 2023, facing an uncertain economic climate, F.I.T Group focused on adhering to action strategies while innovating products, investing in construction of factories and infrastructure, enhancing staff skills and experience, and implementing digitalization across the Group. According to the audited consolidated financial report of 2023, by year-end, F.I.T Group achieved over 7.721 trillion VND in total assets.

The AGM discussed the management and business activities of 2023 and plans for 2024

In the session, the AGM proceeded with the discharge and election of several Board of Directors and Supervisory Board members. Consequently, the AGM voted to discharge Mr. Phạm Tuấn Sơn from his position as a Board member following his resignation on March 25; and Mrs. Ngô Thu Trang from her position as Head of the Supervisory Board following her resignation on March 26. Thus, in the session, the AGM conducted public elections and approved the new Board member Mrs. Nguyễn Ngọc Mai and new Supervisory Board member Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Thu Hường.

Opinions in the assembly focused on production and business situations; progress in building new factories by member companies; business results in 2023; market and price conditions; and other matters were noted and clarified by the Presidium and the Group’s management.

On March 25, 2024, F.I.T Group and VnResource, a Knowledge Resources joint-stock company, kicked off the VnResource HRM Pro software project aimed at the comprehensive digitalization of the Human Resource Management System at the Group. This is an important step in the application of digital technology in the management and development activities of F.I.T Group.

Attending the ceremony were Mrs. Duong Thi Minh Nguyet – HR Director of F.I.T Group, Mr. Thai Binh Quy – CEO of VnResource, Mr. Tran The Anh – Project Director, and all project team members from both sides.

The ceremony took place at the Hanoi Office headquarters and was broadcast online at locations in Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa, and Vinh Long.

Application of Technology in Operations Using the OGSM Model

On April 6, 2023, F.I.T Group officially signed a cooperation agreement with Base Enterprise Corporation (Base), initiating the project to create a digital work environment on the Base.vn platform. This event is considered crucial in the group’s digital transformation plan.

Since its establishment, F.I.T Group has always implemented business management, set goals, developed plans, and measured business effectiveness using the OGSM (Objectives – Goals – Strategies – Measurements) method. OGSM is a framework that helps the group build and promote its comprehensive strength across employees, departments, subsidiaries, and leaders, ensuring unified, sustainable development in the past, present, and future.

In 2023, recognizing digital transformation as a significant opportunity to optimize the centralized management of the group’s and its subsidiaries’ operations in various sectors according to the OGSM strategy, the F.I.T Group’s leadership determined the long-term goal of digitizing business management. They were committed to optimizing OGSM operations through three Base solutions: Base Work+, Base Info+, and Base HRM+. All activities will be entirely digitized, and all tasks will be processed on the Base software, considered F.I.T Group’s digital workspace.

“The focus on digital management development is a leap forward, making the implementation of OGSM smoother and more effective, helping F.I.T Group quickly achieve its vision of becoming a prosperous, multi-industry group with distinct, leading, high-quality products and services, improving the quality of life,” said Mr. Nguyen Van Ban.

With the cooperation between F.I.T Group and Base, upon the project’s launch, the group’s leadership expects that within two months, the project will achieve its goals: reducing 80% of paperwork, increasing work speed and efficiency by 200%, and centralizing 90% of information flows on the Base system.

The successes achieved

Alongside the partnership with Base, in May 2023, F.I.T Group continued to collaborate with FPT IS to deploy the F.I.T Business management software. After six months of diligent implementation, on November 20, 2023, the Centralized Data Warehouse and F.I.T Business Management Reports were completed, tested, and officially launched as planned. The project utilizes the DWH solution developed by FPT IS combined with Salesforce’s BI Tableau solution, achieving the objectives: Successfully building an intelligent management reporting system; centrally storing management data with the capability to standardize and aggregate data automatically; and automating the collection of management data, thereby maximizing the effectiveness of F.I.T Group’s data resources.

Golive ceremony to press the button to operate the F.I.T Business Management Software deployment project

The F.I.T Business management software provides F.I.T Group’s leadership with six groups of management information, including: Accounting and Finance – Revenue – Budget – Production – Human Resources – Purchasing. Management data is automatically synchronized from member companies and five data source systems with various analysis dimensions to help the leadership make timely, accurate decisions.

Mr. Nguyen Van Ban stated, “To date, digitizing management has helped the group’s leadership improve management tasks, effectively use data for a comprehensive overview of business execution, as all operational information will be quantified and detailed. Quantitative reports aim to evaluate the actual operational activities of F.I.T Group, enabling the leadership to make quick, accurate decisions from anywhere and on any device, laying a solid foundation for the implementation of the group’s long-term strategies.”

Facing an uncertain economic landscape, F.I.T Group concentrated on closely following its action strategies while also innovating products, investing in factory construction, infrastructure, enhancing employee knowledge and experience, and implementing digitization across the Group.

By the end of 2023, F.I.T Group reached over VND 7,724 billion in total assets; consolidated net revenue for Q4 2023 exceeded VND 573 billion, a 20% increase compared to the same period in 2022 and reaching a peak over the past six quarters. After deducting expenses, pre-tax consolidated profit for Q4 2023 exceeded VND 56.5 billion, a 5.4-fold increase; post-tax consolidated profit for Q4 2023 was over VND 49 billion, nearly an 18-fold increase compared to the same period last year.

In the Pharmaceutical/Medical Equipment sector, by the end of Q4 2023, cumulatively from the start of the year, DCL achieved over VND 1,170 billion, a 13% increase compared to 2022; total assets increased from VND 2,105 billion to over VND 2,277 billion; equity capital rose from over VND 1,392 billion to over VND 1,451 billion. To achieve these results, DCL invested in expanding production lines and building new factories to meet the increasing quality demands of the market. 2023 also marked a strong digital transformation for DCL, a significant step in the company’s digitization journey. A clear strategy and development orientation in digital transformation have enhanced management work, efficient data use, supported the leadership in making crucial, accurate decisions, and established a solid foundation for implementing long-term strategies.

Beverage business: In 2023, the Group’s beverage business recorded a more than 40% increase in net profit compared to 2022. With the advantage of owning the only natural alkaline mineral water source in the country with a natural pH of 9.0, Danh Thanh, the Group and its subsidiaries vigorously engaged in brand activation activities, promoting brand recognition among consumers. The company’s products were welcomed in nearly all provinces and cities nationwide with over 1000 distribution partners, including 173 supermarkets, 3600 convenience stores, 50 high-end resorts, more than 70 4 and 5-star hotels, and reputable e-commerce platforms supplying the company’s products daily.

Cosmetics: In 2023, FIT Cosmetics successfully launched the Tero bioproducts line, including biological laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, floor cleaner, quickly gaining consumer favor. These products use multi-enzyme technology, with 100% of enzymes from Europe, leading the biotechnology trend in Vietnam. The success of the Tero bioproducts affirmed the Group’s clear strategy with the goal of developing natural origin product lines, providing consumers with high-quality, environmentally friendly products, ahead of the Green consumption trend.

Agriculture – Food: In 2023, TSC achieved a revenue of VND 478 billion. Profit before tax and net profit both showed positive signals compared to last year. In the food sector, in September 2023, the Hau Giang Agricultural Food Processing Plant Complex (Westfood Hau Giang Plant) officially began construction in the Hau River industrial zone, Hau Giang province, and is expected to commence operations in Q1 2025. Upon completion, Westfood Hau Giang is expected to be one of the largest agricultural processing plants in the Mekong Delta, providing over 30,000 tons of internationally certified processed agricultural products annually for domestic consumption and export.

Based on the business results in 2023, F.I.T Group has set development goals for 2024:

In the Pharmaceutical field: Commit to maintaining growth in core business areas: empty capsules, pharmaceuticals, and medical equipment. The company expects to complete the installation of the HVAC system, connect the main machine line, and officially commission capsule line 5 for use in Q1 2024; continue to ensure the construction progress of the Benovas Medical Equipment Manufacturing Factory and the EU-GMP Pharmaceutical Factory, enhancing production capacity to meet domestic demand and aim for international markets.

In the Beverage business: Focus on improving and diversifying product lines, intensifying branding activities, expanding distribution channels and customer networks, offering consumers superior health care solutions, the essence of nature.

In the Cosmetics sector: Continue the strategy of developing Personal Care and Family Care product brands towards green, environmentally friendly trends, and safety for health when used, notably the Tero Bio brand.

In the Agriculture – Food sector: Restructure current industries towards reducing the proportion of business activities that are no longer strengths, continue to leverage activities that are effective for the company. Along with the construction of the Westfood Hau Giang plant, the company will continue to focus on developing products that are currently strengths of Westfood such as IQF, canned products, fresh MD2 pineapple… while also developing new product categories and new products that meet global export trends. For the raw material development project, the company will continue to expand the MD2 pineapple area and other raw materials such as papaya, Chu mango, Kaew mango… to stabilize the input material volume and quality for export purposes.

In the Real Estate sector, F.I.T Group aims towards the mid and high-end segments with practicality as a priority to create sustainable profits for the company.

The workshop is part of the training plan for the next generation team and to enhance the skills and knowledge of all employees across the Group.

The workshop was attended by the Group’s leadership, member companies, and all staff at the Hanoi office, as well as branches in Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh, Vinh Long, and Long An. The goal of the workshop was not only about sales but, more importantly, Chairman Nguyen Van Sang hoped that all employees would embrace the philosophy: Working with all one’s heart – A philosophy that has led to over 16 years of success in building and developing F.I.T Group.

“Using tricks in work or sales is just a temporary approach and is not sustainable. To build a solid position and sustainable development, we need to work with our hearts, and only ‘by heart’ can we maintain a lasting position for our products and services. At F.I.T Group, I require all employees to work and sell from the heart. With many years of experience in management, finance, and business, Chairman Nguyen Van Sang brought to the workshop valuable lessons about the laws and principles of sales; the laws and principles of selling from the heart; and sales processes for B2B, B2B2C, and media channels. The training content, closely linked with practical examples from the Chairman’s own experience, helped employees grasp techniques of selling from the heart; ways to exchange information for professional collaboration; and consolidate the language and value of working “by heart” throughout the Group.

The training session attracted the participation of all Group employees.

After the workshop, employees understood the common values and language pursued by the Group, and acquired skills to work and sell from the heart. “The training session was very useful and changed many of my views on working. Other businesses often target the greed and fear of customers to sell, but F.I.T Group does not. We sell products designed to meet practical needs and improve the quality of life for consumers. This is a very humane philosophy, creating a difference between us and other businesses,” shared a representative from the Sales department.

In the Beverage business: the first 9 months of 2023 recorded a 52% increase in net profit. Brand activation activities were vigorously implemented, enhancing brand recognition among consumers, especially for natural alkaline mineral water Vikoda.

In Agriculture – Food sector: In the first 9 months, TSC achieved 347 billion VND in revenue, equivalent to 36.2% of the annual plan. Net profit showed positive signs compared to the same period last year.

In the Biochemical Cosmetics sector: Tero’s biological products, shortly after their launch, quickly won consumer affection, contributing to the green consumption wave through the use of safe biological cleaning products derived from enzymes, ensuring health safety for the entire family.
